The venue

Location

The competition will take place in the main dining hall at the University Centre, Mill Lane (where we have General Dancing on Fridays).

Parking

Parking is limited at the University Centre. However, there are lots of pay and displays and multi-storey car parks around town. Otherwise, we recommend bikes, feet and public transport!

Changing

There are limited changing facilities at the venue so unless you are happy changing in the hall, we advise dancers to do as much as they can beforehand and to allow plenty of time before their competition starts for any final preparations.

Food

No outside food should be brought into the University Centre. There are salads and sandwiches available from the bar and cafe, or plenty of places to eat around town. Water will be provided, and you may bring your own if you wish. We advise you to eat lunch before you come and take advantage of the period of general dancing between the Latin Competition and Team Match to grab some dinner.

Other

Please respect the other users of the University Centre — we will not be the only people using the building. The University Centre and the Cambridge Dancers’ Club accept no liability for the loss of personal belongings left unattended.

Heel protectors must be worn by ladies with dancing shoes.
